Goodstart Early Learning Sydenham’s vision for reconciliation will be to work together to build strong and respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples that and affirm our commitment to reconciliation. We will work together creating equal and equitable access to Early Learning centres for children and employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators. Our vision is to ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultural identities are recognised and respected in our learning community. We value Elders past, present and future for the knowledge they hold, and we provide First Nations peoples a culturally safe and responsive environment. We commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of reconciliation. Reconciliation must be alive in the hearts and minds of all.
