In our RAP’s 6th year, our vision remains constant yet evolving. We are continuing to learn every day, and each day we share our learning with the children and the families, wider community. We are not afraid of truth-telling, or of critical questioning and relfection when confronting prejudice and bias. We will continue to facilitate conversations about the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, practices, perspectivs and wellbeing. We are committed to ensuring that equal and equitable employment and education opportunities are supported and championed. We do not accept injustice against anybody in our centre and have learnt to enact the fundamental principles of being kind and to be a friend to one another. Together we will work with many People to ensure that we support initiatives that improve First Nations health, education, employment and justice opportunities and outcomes, while speaking up against discrimination and untruths and ensuring we move forward towards a national unity for all Australians. Embracing a spirit of respect, understanding, and acknowledgement within the centre will enable the children to grow with an understanding of why we have a reconciliation movement and why we should work towards peace and harmony for everyone.
