Inaburra Preschool’s vision for reconciliation is to embrace all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, past and present. We continue to seek opportunities to deepen our knowledge and understanding of this Land and respectfully share these learnings with children. We respect the cultures and values of First Nations peoples of Australia and are committed to working towards a reconciled Australia where First Nations peoples have equal and equitable opportunities as non-Indigenous people. Our Educators respectfully include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, perspectives, and histories within learning experiences. We are committed to working in collaboration with First Nations families and local Elders as we ensure the service is a culturally safe place. We envision that the local community will respectfully learn about and respect Dharawal peoples’ perspectives and experiences as the children grow into knowledgeable young people and pass their learnings and understandings of reconciliation onto future generations.
