At Goodstart Riverside Gardens our vision for reconciliation is to provide a high quality environments and experiences for our children and families which embed respect for the First Nations Peoples of Australia. Through strong and regular connections with the local Bindjareb Noongar community, including Elders and local cultural leaders, we will continue to respectfully include the knowledge and perspectives of the Bindjareb Noongar people into the curriculum, policies and daily routines of our centre.
Our staff are striving for outstanding practice through ongoing learning, development of cultural responsiveness, and active awareness and celebration of the enduring and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge our Reconciliation Action Plan is a work in progress, as is the learning and development of our staff and families' knowledge and understanding, which requires a commitment to this endeavour and passion for continual improvement.
