Kindred Early Education is committed to continuing to acknowledge and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories and traditions by teaching in partnership with First Nations Peoples, not just including content related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and contributions. Reconciliation for us, means we are finding common ground and forming a respectful understanding for one another. To us, a reconciled Australia feels like everyone is empowered to be their true selves regardless of gender, race or religious beliefs and we are all informed through unbiased education. Kindred Early Education aims to be a space where everyone is respected, safe and feels included. Kindred Early Education is committed to reconciliation and acknowledges that this is an ongoing process that needs to be continuously revisited and reflected on. We recognise that reconciliation is a shared journey and one that we must be a part of. We are committed to continually improving our practices and learning on our journey to provide a space that promotes safety, diversity and inclusion for all.
