Our vision for reconciliation is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's cultures and knowledges, be respected and honored by all. We envision a future of equity, justice, remuneration, honour, care and love for all First Nations peoples. Our vision is of a harmonious country, where citizens look to the traditional ways of caring for Country, learned and practiced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Ancestors for tens of thousands of years. Natural and sacred sites are protected, and First Nations Peoples are consulted in matters concerning such places. We envision an education system wherein children are authentically taught about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and continuing contributions and that children have opportunities to delight in our First Nations cultures from birth. Our vision is for the cultures and spirit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, past and present to be acknowledged by Australia's children, families and educators to create a bright future of respect.
