Albany Hills State School Outside School Hours Care

Albany Hills OSHC prides itself on its championing of inclusive practices and acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Land on which it operates. Albany Hills OSHC chose to develop and implement a Reconciliation Plan (RAP) in order to further improve links with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community as well as to demonstrate a strong commitment to the goal of reconciliation.

With the renewal of the RAP in late 2018, Albany Hills hopes to not only maintain the relationships and progress it has made in its first year of development but to build on these relationships and progress and to continue to further the cause of reconciliation within the Albany Hills OSHC Community.

Albany Hills OSHC believes that it is the responsibility of all of its staff (and all Australians) to support and champion reconciliation and to acknowledge the difficult history suffered by Australia's First Peoples since colonisation. Albany Hills OSHC hopes that, through their small contribution and commitment to reconciliation they will contribute to a greater future for Australia's First Peoples with greater ties and understanding between all Australians.
