Solomontown Kindy proudly stands on Nukunu Land. We welcome families from all the Lands across Australia to our kindy. We are committed to providing a place where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people feel supported, acknowledged and respected, in a safe learning environment. We will provide opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to share their cultures and perspectives, so that we can learn from each other and grow in understanding together. We commit to building educators’ understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and lived experiences and, within and across our practices, to maintaining high expectations relationships between ourselves and the learners in our care.
