As a service we are committed to building respectful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We will ensure we are equipped to educatechildren now and into the future about reconciliation.
Our vision for reconciliation is to actively engage with the cultures, histories and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will ensure this is done by acknowledging the Traditional Owners every day and working in partnership with them to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our routines, environments, and programs.
Our resources and environments will continue to show respect to the cultures in our community and will be available for all children, families and educators to explore and use every day. Our environments will continue to encourage conversations that contribute to learning for a culturally safe and responsive community.
We are committed to share our reconciliation journey with all children, families, educators and the community and be proud of this journey.
