Milestones Early Learning Deeragun

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Milestones Early Learning Deeragun we are proud of our growing connection to the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Our relationships are new but slowly evolving as we start to understand and appreciate the rich cultures the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community brings to our amazing country. Our Educators recognise that building relationships with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community is vital to our learning and continued growth as Educators. We are committed to ongoing learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures as well as contemporary matters.

We recognise the importance of fostering close relationships with children and families, and that, through recognition of the diverse range of needs and aspirations of all our families and students, we will help to build those relationships. We aim to provide a high standard of education for all children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. We commit to providing culturally appropriate environments and engaging in meaningful and respectful practices.
