We acknowledge and respectfully recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Nations peoples of Australia, honouring their diverse, cultures, languages, histories, and deep, continuing, connection to Country. Our vision for reconciliation is to actively embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives across our learning community. We will continue to build and maintain respectful partnerships with Elders, Traditional Custodians and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the local community, listening to and learning from their stories with care. We continue deepen our knowledge and understanding of reconciliation through ensuring there are meaningful learning experiences for educators, families, children and the wider community, to foster respect for Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander peoples and cultures. We continue to meaningfully deepen our commitment to reconciliation across our early learning service and community through creating and maintaining a culturally safe and responsive environment where every child, family and educator feels connected, respected and inspired to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, perspectives and histories together. Our commitment to reconciliation is to value and show respect First Nations peoples knowledge through our pedagogy and practices by earning from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teaching practices. We will continue to meaningfully and respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives in our daily environment, and create a centre where everyone across our learning environment feels seen, supported and respected.
