Vision for Reconciliation At Chantel, we acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live.
We are committed to taking action towards reconciliation as we recognise our professional responsibility to ensure that current and future generations grow up with an understanding of and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, peoples, and histories. This respect is woven through and embedded into our curriculum and learning programs within our early education service.
Through our pedagogy, practice and programs, and relationships, we will continue to provide equal and equitable education and care to ensure all children are well equipped with the best possible start to life. We continue to foster a service culture that shows respect, recognition and appreciation for the First Nations peoples' perspectives and experiences through meaningful learning experiences.
We are committed to building and maintaining meaningful relationships and connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the local community, respecting First Nations peoples, cultures, and providing an early learning environment where everyone feels welcome.
