VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Templestowe, our vision for reconciliation is an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families enjoy the same life opportunities as all Australians. We envision a nation where every childregardless of backgroundcan grow up safe, healthy, connected to culture, and full of hope for the future.

We believe all children, young people and their families should be safe, thriving, and supported to reach their full potential. This includes creating nurturing environments that promote physical, emotional and cultural safety, and actively protect children from all forms of abuse, neglect and harm.

We are committed to upholding the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children by ensuring their voices are heard, their identities respected, and their communities empowered. Our approach is grounded in respect, cultural understanding and genuine partnership, recognising the strength, resilience, and wisdom of First Nations peoples.

By fostering inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally safe environments, we aim to break cycles of disadvantage and build a future where every child is embraced by a community that values, protects and uplifts them.
