Australia is a vibrant, multicultural country and is the home to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, one of the worlds oldest living cultures.
Our vision is to support children to develop a connection to reconciliation from their earliest age. We believe children, educators and families deserve to learn about Australia's shared history and the rich and diverse cultures of First Nations people.
Story House Early Learning, Epping is respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives and knowledges, to support how all children form their sense of identity and belonging, as well as promoting a culture of understanding and respect towards cultural diversity for all children.
We are dedicated to strengthening Educators and childrens connectedness to the local First Nations community, to learning, playing, and growing together. We acknowledge the ongoing contributions made by First Nations peoples and recognise the many different dimensions of knowledge, the significance of these cultures, histories, stories, and traditions.
