Our vision for reconciliation at Auburn West Montessori Academy is to enrich, enlighten and to further educate educators, families, and children within the centre on the importance of reconciliation. Educators, families, and children are provided with the opportunity to develop a strong sense of understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures through our education programs. We value diversity within the service, and we will continue to plan experiences that include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives as a way of fostering and encouraging the whole learning community to be active participants in reconciliation.
