Our vision for reconciliation at Auburn Montessori Academy is to provide opportunities to enrich, enlighten and to further educate all educators, families and children within the centre about the past and continuing significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions. All educators, families and children will be supported to take this opportunity to develop a strong sense of understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander pedagogies, perspectives and ways of life. This understanding will assist us in building respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community.
