Nido Early School Eyre Village recognises the social injustices that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities have faced and still do face in Australia. As educators, we are aware of our unique position in the lives of Australia’s future leaders. We understand that we can drive genuine action leading to reconciliation in the Early Years so that the children we educate develop lifelong dispositions to embrace the cultural diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, to learn of Australia’s true histories, , and have the knowledge and confidence to become strong advocates for First Nations peoples, families and communities. Our curriculum will provide authentic, respectful and meaningful learning experiences that actively embed the cultures, beliefs, traditions and voices of Australia’s First Nations peoples.
