Our vision is for reconciliation is to respect and acknowledge the unique connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with Country, specifically the Dharug people as we play and learn on their Land. We are dedicated to ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are actively recognised for being Australia’s First Nations peoples and commit ourselves to gaining a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of being, knowing and learning. We are committed to working in a respectful way with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations and communities.
Evergreen Early Education provides the highest quality of care and allows each child to reach their fullest potential. All educators respect and understand how crucial the early years of life are, they are passionate in ensuring the environment is a home away from home that is always full of love, laughter and equitable and equal learning experiences. We are here to educate our children about culture and incorporate a sense of being, belonging and becoming at our centre. We provide a range of experiences to enhance children’s knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives and heritages and encourage connectedness within our centre and the broader community by embedding cultural connections in our curriculum and routines.
