Our vision for reconciliation is to see it authentically and respectfully embedded into every part of our daily practice. We recognise that the early childhood education setting creates the opportunity for children, families and educators to participate in learning about reconciliation and about First Nations peoples’ cultures and histories. We strive to foster a culture of inclusion by being culturally responsive and creating an environment that is culturally safe for everyone. .
We believe in offering equal and inclusive environment that is reflective of the cultures, collective interests and understandings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people in our service and our community. This vision for reconciliation is grounded in the concepts of togetherness, reciprocity, and respect. We provide a respectful and enriching education about the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we learn, work and play.
