Reconciliation means educating our team to have the knowledge to confidently embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge every day. To us it really means to be culturally informed by connecting with the local Fist Nations community that we have developed respectful relationships with.
We aim for the whole team to feel confident that First Nations perspectives are represented both culturally and respectfully. Our team continues to grow their knowledge to become further educated around the awareness of reconciliation and how to embed it into the environment, program and practices so that it is visible.
We aim for reconciliation at our service to be respectful, fluid, and embedded as a part of our program.
