At Goodstart Blair Athol, reconciliation is about creating a community where everyone belongs. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and honour the strength, resilience and richness of the worlds oldest continuing cultures.     Our vision is for every child to grow in an environment where diversity of First Nations peoples is celebrated, individual cultural identities are valued, and children develop empathy, curiosity and respect for one another. Through meaningful experiences, childrens voices, family partnerships and community connections, we respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives into everyday learning, play and decision-making.    We are committed to fostering an environment of inclusion, respect, and understanding, and we honour the rich cultural heritage and ongoing connection to land, water, and community that the Kaurna people have cared for over many generations.  As reflective educators, we are committed to listening, learning and continuously improving our practice to ensure our service remains culturally safe, inclusive and responsive. We believe reconciliation is everyones responsibility, and together we will create lasting change through our actions, our relationships and our commitment to walking together toward a more respectful and equitable future.
