Goodstart Early Learning Blair Athol recognises and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Custodians of the Lands on which our early childhood services are offered.
At Goodstart Blair Athol, we work towards embedding respectful and trusting relationships between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people. Children will have the opportunity to learn about and develop their personal sense of identity, as well as to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and heritage as a proud part of a shared national identity.
Respecting, valuing and authentically engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories and achievements is fundamental to Australia’s reconciliation journey and shared identity. At Goodstart Blair Athol we understand the importance of showing respect and advocacy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples within our service and when in the local community.
