Reconciliation at Wagga Wagga Early Years Learning Boorooma means coming together to overcome inequality and inequity, sharing understandings, history and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Our vision is to welcome and value local Traditional Custodians, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the wider Australian community to build collaborative partnerships to walk together and learn together.
Wagga Wagga Early Years Learning Centre Boorooma is committed to continually grow in cultural competency and working towards a reconciled Australia through our relationships with children, their families and among our educators as professionals in the early childhood industry. This will be achieved through connecting and consulting with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous families and children. Wagga Wagga Early Years Learning Centre Boorooma will continue to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our curriculum, planning and practices and involve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members in this journey.
