Our vision of reconciliation is to see an Australia that ensures all children, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, have an equal and equitable opportunity to learn, grow and play. Our vision is to provide a respectful and culturally safe environment that promotes, unity and celebrates the vibrant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and where all children, families and staff feel a sense of belonging and can confidently express their identities.
The BOOSH Centre is committed to reconciliation and providing an inclusive program that aims to reflect on and teach about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories and perspectives.
As caregivers, we are committed to engaging with children, families and our wider community to develop a greater understanding and appreciation of the cultures and histories of the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we operate our service, the Wallumedegal and Darug Peoples.
