At Stratton Out of School Care, we are committed to fostering a culture of reconciliation through ongoing learning, reflection, and action. Our team of educators engages in professional development, research, and dialogue with families and local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members to deepen our understanding of what reconciliation in education means. We are dedicated to creating learning environments that celebrate and build knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions. By working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and the local community, we embed culturally responsive practices across our curriculum and everyday programs. We strive to cultivate an inclusive and respectful service where children, educators, and families experience connection, understanding, and pride in cultural diversity. Through strengthened relationships, reflective practice, and meaningful engagement, we aim to equip our community to continue learning, unlearning, and relearning, and to actively contribute to reconciliation in education.
