At Peak, our vision for reconciliation is to foster a learning community where children, families, and educators collaborate to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and histories. Through our everyday programs and practices, we aim to strengthen meaningful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous members of our service. We aspire to create a sense of belonging for everyone, building a foundation of care, support, and cultural safety within an inclusive and diverse environment. We celebrate the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, acknowledging their deep and enduring connections to land, waters, and communities. Our vision for a reconciled Australia is one where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are respected, represented, and protected across all areas of society, including recognition of rights enshrined under Australian law. We recognise that reconciliation is an ongoing journey. We are committed to growing individually, as a team, and as an organisation, continually enhancing our Reconciliation Action Plan. This commitment reflects our core values of respect for diversity, inclusion, advocacy for childrens rights, justice, honesty, and courage.
