VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At MacGregor OSHC, we embrace and celebrate the diversity of our community through inclusive practices and a deep respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our service operates and pay our respects to Elders past and present.     Our vision is to foster a culturally responsive environment where the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations peoples are recognised, valued, and embedded in everyday practice. We are committed to building meaningful and respectful relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.     Through regular programming, events, and ongoing learning opportunities, we support children, families, and educators to deepen their understanding of the enduring connection First Nations peoples have with Country, culture, and community. We aim to create a space where all cultures are recognised and celebrated, and where reconciliation is actively pursued through respectful actions, inclusive education, and authentic engagement.
