VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Reconciliation for our early learning service means coming together as a nation and bringing our values together to value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander beliefs and cultures. We are committed to nurturing and strengthening respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples to benefit young children, families and people in the community.   We recognise we need to take action to reach reconciliation in the community and across the country, starting by furthering our knowledge and understating of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories as adults so that we can bring ourselves and the people around us, closer together with respect. We will respectfully integrate First Nations perspectives within our curriculum and daily practice. In our reconciliation journey, we will continue to create respectful and reciprocal connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of the community.
