Our centre staff will continue to actively work towards creating a welcoming and inviting environments for all that visit our centre. As educators, we continue to develop a rich understanding of the appropriate language and terminology that is inclusive and supports the strengthening of our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We facilitate culturally and age-appropriate learning activities for the children in our care that are respectful, and that reflect rich and diverse cultures, including the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
We will continue to respectfully reach out to and collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, community groups and support networks throughout the region to support our understanding of how best to create a more inclusive environment and foster strong partnerships into the future.
