We acknowledge the unique cultural rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We seek to recognise the past and continuing injustices experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to work in partnership to promote an equitable shared future. 

We will continue to support our team to understand and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. In our pedagogy we will continue to actively promote reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians by embedding a reconciliation perspective of cultural awareness, sensitivity and respect into our consciousness and practices. 

We commit to building respectful and reciprocal partnerships between local and national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the children, families, teaching team, and local community of Googong Early Learning Centre.
