Recognising the diverse of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges and cultures is crucial to achieving reconciliation. We believe that deep listening, togetherness, reciprocity, and respect form the foundation of our continuing reconciliation journey. As an Early Learning community, we acknowledge the impacts of colonisation on First Nation peoples and understand that reconciliation isa shared journey of partnership and truth telling. We recognise the influence and effects staff, children and families have on our reconciliation journey. We will continue to build on connections with Wangan, Jagalingou, Jangga, Bidjara, Kangalou and Kairi peoples and Elders as we respect their guidance as we lead our educational journey for all children and families in our service. Together through our actions we will build a more equitable and reconciled Australia.
