Beerwah Kindy's vision for reconciliation is about actively acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. We want to celebrate their contributions and continuing significance in today's society. It is our goal that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage is embedded so respectfully and deeply in the future that it is entrenched in our being, belonging and becoming. We are committed to finding meaningful and authentic ways to connect and engage with the local Kabi Kabi community, including past and present Beerwah Kindy families. We acknowledge the RAP is a continual process and we will add to it and grow individually, as a team and as a service. We are committed to the re-unification and healing through connections within our community to move forward together as one.
