Our vision for reconciliation is to create a safe, inclusive and respectful environment that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our vision will be centered around the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion and will aim to promote understanding, healing and reconciliation between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. Our RAP will be focusing on building meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, fostering cultural awareness and respect. We have been implementing this vision by offering a curriculum that incorporates First Nations perspectives and practices and creating a rich learning environment that fosters understanding and respect among all children. We will actively engage with Elders and community members, providing opportunities for learning and meaningful connections. This vision would ensure that children and families grow up with a deep appreciation for First Nations peoples’ cultures and a strong foundation for building harmonious relationships in a diverse society.
