At Seeds Early Learning Shailer Park, we are committed to developing a sense of understanding amongst our team, and alongside children and families and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our service sits on Yugembeh Land, with natural bushland and native animals regularly spending time within our outdoor environments. As a service we nurture the Land through sustainable practices and connections with the wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Through the development of our Reconciliation Plan we intend to turn good intentions into positive actions. We acknowledge and respect the special relationship that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with their traditional lands and waters and skies. We also acknowledge histories, diverse cultures, contributions, customs and circumstances of First Nations peoples.
