At C&K The Gap Community Kindy, our vision for reconciliation is for educators, children, families and community to acknowledge, value and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians, and to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and foster connections to Country through learning experiences with Traditional Custodians. We will work to build respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as we deepen our knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives, histories, and experiences. We will ensure our kindergarten is a culturally safe learning environment for all children, educators and families.
