Ashgrove West Kindy's vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge and respect the Traditional Custodians of our Land on which we live, work and play every day. We will continue to do this by exploring and building strong relationships with the Turrbal and Yuggera peoples. We are committed to gaining a deeper awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and identities as we learn through our reconciliation journey and partnerships with local Elders, leaders and community.
We continue to provide equal and equitable educational opportunities and outcomes for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous children in an inclusive and diverse environment that is culturally safe, rich, and proud through recognising and celebrating First Nations Days of National Significance.
We continue to work towards a compassionate and reconciled future where difference and diversity is respected and embraced at Kindy and in the wider community.
