Our vision at Cranbourne Day Care and Kindergarten Centre - Duff St is to create a learning community where every child feels safe, valued, and deeply connected to the place in which they grow.
Guided by the Victorian Child Safe Standard 1, we commit to a culture of safety and inclusion that upholds the rights, voices, and identities of First Nations Children and all children.
We honour the Bunurong People, the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Land on which our service stands. We recognise their enduring cultural knowledge, stories, and connection to Country, and we commit to embedding these living histories respectfully and meaningfully in our everyday practice.
Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, we strive to build genuine, trusting relationships with First Nations children, families, and community members. We aim to create an environment where their cultural identities are celebrated, their perspectives guide our decisions, and their wellbeing is central to everything we do.
Our early childhood service is committed to ongoing learning, truth-telling, and reflective practice. We seek to nurture children who grow with empathy, respect, and a strong sense of belonging on Bunurong Country.
Together, we work towards a reconciled future where all children are empowered, culturally safe, and supported to thrive.
