Goodstart Early Learning Golden Square is committed to reconciliation and creating a future for our children that values strong and respectful relationships between our service, our broader community and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within our community.
We envisage a community that is inclusive and respectful, working together in a harmonious manner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and educators.
We recognise that as an early childhood education and care service we are in a position to form a clear path to a reconciled community and nation. We strive to have all students, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families to be provided with quality early childhood education.
Further, we will work with non-Indigenous educators, children and their families to value the diversity that exists within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and for individual people and to support an understanding of how this is intrinsic to our national identity.
