Our vision for reconciliation is to create a culture of respect and acknowledge the unique connections that the Bunurong people have to this Land.

We acknowledge that our service has been established within the Kulin Nation and will share this understanding with children, families and educators who are a part of this community.

We will build genuine, respectful relationships with all children, families and educators: accepting culture, differences and the unique strengths that we all bring to our community.

Community Family Day Care values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures and the contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities  make to our service and wider community.

We are committed to;

•Gaining a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and learning. •Respectfully sharing that knowledge at all levels of the service and within our early learning community. •Providing an environment which visually acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures and encourages educators to further investigate and deepen their understanding. •Improving access to our service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. •Building respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities for the benefit of all children and families in our early learning community.
