VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our Center's vision for reconciliation is founded on strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people. We strive to develop genuine, lasting relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and provide a culturally safe and welcoming service. We strive to embed learning about our shared histories and the ongoing impacts of colonisation on First Nations peoples throughout our service and curriculum. We dedicate ourselves to a future that reinforces the values of inclusiveness, equity, equality and unity. As educators, we believe we have a strong responsibility to nurture an understanding of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories and cultures in current and future generations of children.
