Our vision for reconciliation is to respect and acknowledge the unique connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the Lands on which our early learning centre is situated, and to build genuine, respectful relationships with all children and families who attend the centre.
Through respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives that are age appropriate, we will recognise the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures and heritage. We are committed to gaining a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and learning through our relationships with local Elders and the wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
