Our RAP is a whole-of-organisation responsibility. We utilise a shared approach and organisational culture that embraces growth and change. We vow to identify and amend gaps in our policies and embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our philosophy and daily practice. We continue to develop and nurture respectful relationships and collaborative partnerships and celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and communities.
We want everyone in our learning community to value the rich knowledge, strengths and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and know the importance of Country, family and kinship systems. We commit to challenging ourselves and each other to be accountable and build our cultural confidence and responsiveness. We support all children and families to be proud of their culture and strong in their cultural identity. We recognise our position of influence and will take steps towards eliminating social injustice, inequality and disadvantage.
