We believe everyone in our preschool, region and nation can feel a sense of belonging through high quality, culturally appropriate early childhood education in the early years.
We acknowledge our preschool exists on Bundjalung Country, Country we honour, respect and acknowledge sovereignty to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We recognise the land was never ceded.
We believe racism, prejudice, unfair practices and attitudes towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is unacceptable. Our charter is to practice social justice to provide opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Islander children and all children to thrive.
We envision our practice will strengthen relationships with local Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander people. Through our early years program and with permission to share this knowledge, we will respectfully educate and raise awareness of the rich and diverse cultural, language, spiritual, social knowledge and deep connections to place that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have.
