VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation at Toukley Preschool is to respect and embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, perspectives, and histories and show our respect for the Traditional Custodians of the Land. We continue to deepen and broaden our relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and strengthen our knowledge and understanding of culture. 

We create meaningful opportunities in play and learning for all children to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through respectfully embedding cultural perspectives in our curriculums and community involvement. 

We continue to extend our cultural knowledge and understanding as we work in partnerships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, listening to their perspectives and, where appropriate, sharing these within our Early Childhood Service to build reconciliation into future generations.
