At Cronulla Preschool, our vision for reconciliation is listening to First Nations peoples nurturing and nurturing and teaching our children to value, respect and engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and histories and reconciliation. As educators, we strive to extend our own knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures, to be able to share in truth telling with our families, children and community. We believe that a core concept of reconciliation is to strengthen relationships between First Nations people's and non-Indigenous Australians through reciprocal, collaborative and respectful partnerships.
