At Dove Cottage Child Care Centre, we are working to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and perspectives through educational program and practices that acknowledge, respect and develop children’s awareness and understanding of First Nations peoples’ histories, cultures, and perspectives. We seek meaningful partnerships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, welcoming their unique perspectives.
As a team, we actively consider societal inequalities, in particular for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, and consider our role as allies to provide a service founded in the values of equity, equality, dignity, and respect.
