VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge and respect the cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, to have a community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are recognised as the First Nation peoples of Australia and their heritages and cultures are valued, celebrated, and promoted. We embrace a national culture that represents equality and equity, historical acceptance of our true shared histories and removal of negative race relations.

As educators we are committed to working collaboratively and respectfully with First Nations communities to improve social, cultural and educational outcomes for all children and families through engagement and commitment to reconciliation.

Our centre has a deep and ongoing respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ heritages and respect for identified Aboriginal Sacred Sites and significant places.
