Our vision for reconciliation in 2027 is to meaningfully acknowledge and respect the enduring cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Nations Custodians of this Land. We are committed to embedding reconciliation as a living practice within our service, guided by respect, understanding, and genuine partnership.
As educators, we aspire to strengthen our communitys knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural heritages, contemporary identities and ongoing contributions to society. Through intentional teaching, inclusive practices, and reflective learning, we aim to foster a culture of curiosity, empathy, and respect among children, families, and educators.
We will continue to build and sustain respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations, recognising the importance of listening, learning and collaborating in ways that honour self-determination and cultural authority. By embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our curriculum, environment and community connections, we strive to create a learning community where reconciliation is actively practiced, diversity is valued, and all children grow with a strong sense of belonging, fairness and shared responsibility for Australia's future.
