Beeliar Primary School is committed to contributing actively to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people. We strive for students, staff and families to be lifelong advocates of reconciliation through teaching and modelling respect and empathy. Beeliar Primary School continues to acknowledge and respect the significance of the local Beeliar Boodjar to Noongar people - past, present and emerging. The Beeliar Primary School Community will be provided opportunities to continue deepening their understanding of the importance of reconciliation to all Australians and prepare students, staff and families to become advocates for, and participants in, reconciliation. At Beeliar, we are committed to truth-telling and being active participants in recognising and sharing the true histories of Australia and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives within our classrooms.
