VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Sunnybank State Special School, our vision for reconciliation is to foster a learning community that respects and actively engages with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, cultures, and contributions. We are committed to creating a culturally  inclusive and respectful environment where every student, staff member, and family feels a sense of belonging. Through  building and maintaining meaningful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people, providing authentic learning experiences, and shared understanding, we strive to walk together on the journey of reconciliation, acknowledging the past, embracing the present, and building a future grounded in respect, unity, and opportunities for all Australians.
