Burgmann Anglican School acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Lands and Waterways on which our school operates. We recognise the wisdom, living cultural knowledges, and learnings of Ngunnawal Elders, and Ngambri Elders.
Our vision for reconciliation is to ensure our school properly acknowledges and celebrates the contribution of First Nations peoples throughout history and provides a rich education for all students that encourages deep understanding, empathy, action, and respect. We recognise the enormous opportunity we have to educate our community about true Australian histories, encourage and grow respect, and promote reconciliation through broadening understandings, recognising traditions, and building relationships with First Nations peoples.
